Grouping Foods for a Healthy Lifestyle. This teaching resource helps children with grouping foods to encourage a healthy lifestyle. Includes four activities and an assessment activity.
1.Group the foods into ALWAYS and SOMETIMES foods.
2.Group the foods into the five food groups
3.Group the foods into tried and untried
4.Record if students have reached the recommended daily amounts in each food group.
5.Check for understanding with an assessment where children plate up to include foods from each food group.
