Print and laminate the I SPY poster, the grid with the letters of the alphabet (the a-z chart) and the pictures. We have provided a completed chart as answers or if you just want to print it for hanging on the wall.
Put Velcro dots on the back of each image and put Velcro dots next to each letter of the alphabet on the a-z chart.
You can play this a number of ways.
Once children I SPY something and correctly say the initial sound, they are given the image to attach to the a-z chart.
You can give children an image that they must I SPY on the poster and then they can attach it to the a-z chart.
Spread the images out and children race to I SPY and then attach to the a-z chart.
Use the I SPY chart on the wall and find the letter of the day…as you do, add it to the a-z chart.
